Hello and welcome to my website!
My name’s Lynn Deighton and I’ve been a fully qualified DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) Approved Driving Instructor and Pass Plus registered since September 2009.
Prior to becoming a driving instructor I was a Legal Secretary before having my two children and then I ran my own ironing business down south for 9 years.
Once we moved up North, I decided I needed a change of career. So upon serious consideration it was between training to be a midwife or training to be a driving instructor. As you can see I went for the driving instructor route as I felt it might be less messy!
However, these jobs have a couple of things common. You have to have bags of patience and nerves of steel, both of which I have!! So you’re in safe hands!
I will make your driving lessons fun, professional, productive and tailored to your individual needs ensuring you, most importantly, ‘drive safe for life’ and then hopefully pass that all important test first time!
I strongly agree upon teaching ‘driving safe for life’ and not solely to pass the practical test. I will teach you all the DSA recommended subjects plus much more to keep you safe on the roads!!
